Episode 11: The Tabernacle: The Mercy Seat

In this episode we will look at the Mercy Seat in depth. The Mercy Seat was the top of the Ark. Propitiation is the appeasement of wrath, the turning away of divine wrath. Propitiation was made under the Old Covenant on the Mercy Seat. This Old Covenant propitiation had temporal efficacy. Propitiation under the New Covenant is made in the body of Jesus Christ. New Covenant propitiation has permanent efficacy.
